Pre-Apprenticeship Opportunity for Schools

DSCF2801 (Small)

Repc Ltd is offering this unique computer and mobile phone engineering pre-apprenticeship opportunity to pupils who may wish to pursue careers in the IT and mobile phone sector. The programme is designed to give pupils a head start in the workplace with its very strong focus on practical, hands-on, vocational skills, which can be matched with units from a range of curriculum and national vocational qualification.

The programme is designed to accommodate all ability pupils from those with special educational needs to gifted and talented pupils, who have a talent or genuine interest in a career in the IT sector.

The pupils will benefit from being taught in a focussed, small group setting or on a one-to-one basis, with the added advantage of being fully delivered in a progressive and growing business environment. Minimum standards of behaviour and academic ability are required to enable pupils to achieve their full potential.

Length of programme

The programme can be delivered over one academic year or as a taster over one half term or a full term. Ideally, pupils should have the option to try the programme on a taster basis to give them the opportunity to decide if this career path is right for them. It also gives us the opportunity to assess their suitability for the programme. This opportunity is ideally suited to year 10, 11 or 6th form students.
