Date of Registration: 13/03/2015

We have now completed our assessment of your T11 notification, received on 06.02.2015.

Having undertaken an inspection of your premises I can confirm that your proposed operation has been agreed and registered as exempt.

The exemption allows you to repair, refurbish or dismantle various types of waste electrical and electronic equipment so that the whole WEEE item or any dismantled parts can be reused for their original purpose or dismantled parts can go for recovery.

The exemption will remain valid at this site until 12.03.2018. We will remind you that the exemption is due for renewal one month prior to this date. You can renew at any time during the month prior to expiry.

Although the above operation is now registered it remains so only whilst you operate within the terms and conditions of the exemption and whilst you do not cause pollution, harm to human health or detriment to amenity. It is a criminal offence to carry out this type of operation without an exemption or environmental permit. It is your responsibility to ensure that you know what the legislation requires and that you operate within it.
